Counselling and Spiritual Care
I currently offer Coaching and Spiritual Care as 1-1 support, with a focus on grief processes, meaning-making after loss, identity and relationship to caregiving roles for frontline workers, and explorations of spiritual journeys and dilemmas. Coaching work is not psychotherapy - I instead see my role as a facilitator, question-asker, educator, and experienced guide in these realms. Note that while I have experience working within mental healthcare, coaching work does not assess or treat mental health disorders, and is not an appropriate substitute for crisis-oriented care.
Many of my clients are current frontline workers navigating burn out, complex ongoing loss, the experience of being a worker with lived experience, and personal substance use. I offer services for individuals, and also provide ongoing 1-1 coaching work for non-profits looking to implement internal worker wellness strategies.
Modalities and areas of focus within my coaching work includes:
Grief and loss psychoeducation
Sustainability coaching for frontline workers and non-profit managers
Conflict resiliency & Transformative Justice processes
Non-denominational spiritual direction and chaplaincy
Solidarity-finding repair processes for individuals moving through rupture and conflict
